Engram Module
Browsing the Web today requires that you make lots of decisions. Engrams help you make those decisions an investment in future efficiency rather than having the reinvent them every time you browse. Any time you find yourself doing a similar series of steps repeatedly while browsing, you may want to use this feature to record those steps for easy recall and refinement. For each Web browsing mode or "Engram", you can keep track of key words that you like to search for and record questions that help focus your attention on useful information as opposed to merely interesting.

You open the Engram module either by clicking the target icon in StartGen's toolbar, or by clicking the "WModes" shortcut in the StartGen folder added to your Windows desktop. Several sample engrams have been included to help you get started with this new approach to information interaction on the Web. When you register StartGen, you will receive a more extensive example of how the author uses this feature to optimize his Web browsing processes.

You can drag and drop items in all three lists to rearrange them.

Once defined, you can publish your engram on a Web page or email it to others using StartGen's Share module.
